The ever-enjoyable Tokyo Disneyland. As much fun as it is to ride the rides and see the shows , shopping for souvenirs can be just as magical. This collaboration between a popular treat and Mickey Mouse is a big hit! Tokyo Banana 1, yen Our merchandise pro at Disney confirms that this product is a top-seller! With its tasty cream wrapped in a fluffy sponge cake , Tokyo Banana is so popular you could even call it the standard Tokyo souvenir these days. Although you can buy their products at certain train stations or directly from their store, Tokyo Disneyland is the only place selling this tasty Mickey collaboration.
Though Tokyo Banana makes for a great souvenir, you might want to buy one box just for yourself as well! About half of the people buying them are from overseas. Standing 30cm tall, these plush dolls have quite the presence. There are several types to choose from, but the most memorable souvenir might be the ones wearing traditional Japanese clothing, always reminding you of your travels! It feels comforting and warm.

Long before I started collecting Disneyland postcards, I was a comic book collector. I went a long, and the rest, as they say, is history! The book is from , just a few short years after the park opened. This was just one example where they used that medium to promote what the park had to offer. Second up is a book published by Charlton Comics in I have a post on that particular card here. If your interested, check out this custom search on ebay. I hope you all are managing in this weird and challenging time for our country and the world.
I put this post up as something to hopefully distract and provide a little lighthearted fun. Hang in there! The motel featured here, the Fantasy Inn, was located at Harbor Blvd. What got me most excited about this fantastic piece of Disney nostalgia was the VW Shuttle bus! The rear of the card adds free coffee, ice cubes, and again calls out the free shuttle bus to and from Disneyland!
I hope you all are navigating these crazy times relative to the global pandemic and disruption of your normal life.

Out of all of the lands, Tomorrowland is the one that has seen the most change, with complete overhauls in and And with all of this change, there are many attractions I do not have postcards of, such as America Sings and more. After passing by through Avenue of the Flags, Guests could gaze upon the Clock of the World that would tell you what time it was anywhere in the world.
From a design perspective it was absolutely stunning! When Disneyland opened, Tomorrowland featured a plethora of sponsored attractions, and really focused on the science of the future. The attraction was a walk-through exhibit showcasing how aluminum is made, and how it is used. The first was the Monsanto Hall of Chemistry, another walk-through attraction, but more akin to what you may find at science museum.

The idea for the Disney Skyliners was first introduced at the D23 Expo in Anaheim in after confirming rumors for the new gondola system in April Since then we have been hanging on to the little bits Disney has given us about its newest mode of transportation — sneak peeks at the artwork, where the Skyliners will be and all the updates on construction progress posted by fans on social media.

Walls have already started coming down in some spots around the loading stations, sending social media into a frenzy.
